I LOVE my superheroes! They rescued the big dog! Really, I love that they just play together so well now...minus the screaming that happens when one bugs the other! Most of the time they do so well!
Not sure what we did Thursday...I think we stayed home and cleaned house and did laundry.
Friday morning we met my mom at Cracker Barrel for breakfast! Eleanor really liked the peg game they have on the tables.
Thankfully there weren't many people sitting around us so we were able to take more games off the other tables so the big 3 could play as well.
Breakfast was yummy and we all ate too much!
Later that afternoon the 2 big girls got to go help Uncle Justin and Aunt Becca at the state gymnastics meet. They sat at the tables with the judges and ran the score to the main judge. Delaney helped Becca open all the medals as well...she said there were a ton! Ha!
While the big girls were at the gym meet Sloan and I took the little girls to All Aboard for dinner. Such a fun place to eat...you place your order, stick a special card in a slot at your table and a train brings you your dinner and drops it off at your table. Great place for kids and the food is actually good, too.
Eleanor LOVED the choo choo's...she was hilarious to watch. It was fun to get to eat with 2 kids instead of 4...although we did miss D&I.
So I tried to post this during Spring Break; I had the blog post almost done and then for some reason it was gone...nowhere to be found, lost somewhere on my phone or in cyber space. So frustrating. Anyway, we have been so busy and I just haven't taken the time to rewrite the post, but now I am, so here goes (let's see what I still remember).
It rained all day so the girls and I cleaned out the playroom and the toys. We dumped every toy bin out and made sure all the pieces were there, it still worked, etc. we got rid of some toys (mostly baby things that no one plays with any more...a sad day around here, although we did keep some for future nephews and nieces/friends kiddos). Delaney was a huge help to me and Isabelle helped entertain Madeline and Eleanor. Now time to tackle the closet.....
That night we went out to the Conklin's house and had a fun night out in the country! The girls started "entertaining" Winston as soon as we got there.
The rain stopped so we all went for a walk before we made dinner. We even saw the neighbor's peacocks (they have a gazillion...I'm not exaggerating)!
I don't think I've ever seen one fly before...crazy!
Jackie set up the "pizza station" for the girls and everyone got to make their own pizzas all while getting a science lesson on yeast and how it makes dough rise...the girls loved it!
After dinner the girls helped Miss Kristin make fruit pizza! So yummy!
After dessert the girls got to help give Winston a bath! Such a fun thing for them since we don't have any pets!
Everyone is nice and clean! What a fun night out in the country! So thankful for the Conklin's and the fun night they planned for the girls! -Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
